Hearts for You

I love Hearts for You!! From the dresses to the service they were excellent!! The seamstress did a great job with my dress as well! They were always friendly and accomodating. I bought my wedding dress there, and my mom bought her mother of the brides there. I have been in two bridal parties with dresses from Hearts for You. I am always happy to go there and they have reasonable prices. Best bridal shop in the area!

Although they are not part of Hearts for You and while I had no issues with them, my mother and mother-in-law did. I just felt I should mention that.

Before visiting Hearts For You I bought four different wedding dresses, on-line. Each of these dresses was sophisticated yet understated. I had been to three bridal shops (including David’s) before this one and both of those experiences were discouraging. I had a completely different and positive experience within moments of entering Hearts For You. So many dresses, I immediately became excited to find a wedding dress for the first time as I poured through the racks. The shop was crowded on this Saturday and they didn’t have anyone to help me try on dresses. They suggested that I come back the next day when the shop opened at noon but I lived about four hours away and would be leaving much earlier. One of the saleswomen, Cyd, offered to open the shop early on Sunday to spend two hours with me to try on dresses. The next day my Mom and girlfriend and I showed up for Cyd to open the store and I found “the dress”. Cyd was such a delight to work with. She was tireless and effusive, offering advice and honest review of the dresses. Such a warm and lovely woman, we all felt like we were with one of our friends in about five minutes with her – such a great experience! I bought my dream dress from Hearts For You and each experience with the shop was positive and wonderful. They made me feel very special and I never felt as though my dress wouldn’t be exactly as expected. I worked with their seamstress, Rusmaria and she was also very kind an accommodating. I ended up going for three fittings as I had asked to have the train removed from my dress for my ceremony on the beach. The cost for her services was a little high but in the end I was glad that I worked with her given the ease of meeting her at the shop and the high quality of her work. When I picked up my dress, everyone at the shop was excited for me. I look forward to getting my pictures back so that I can return to Hearts For You and share them with my new friends. I highly recommend Hearts For You to any woman who wants a huge selection, kind and wonderful women to work with and an overall positive experience in your search for the dress.

When I first went to Hearts for You, I worked with Denise to help me find my wedding gown. She was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, helpful, and she had a great personality. I initially looked for places to shop for the gown that had good reviews, and very few did. Hearts for You did have good reviews and it was close to my house. I was excited that I had a good experience when I went there. Because I was happy with my own experience, I decided to purchase the Bridesmaid’s dresses from the store as well. Unfortunately, I did not have the same results. Some of the girls went there to be fitted, and they worked with other staff members and they did not feel they were treated well. In addition, the price of the dresses kept going up for every reason possible. In the end, we decided to get the dresses elsewhere. Ultimately, we paid considerably less for them than we would have paid at Hearts for You, so it worked out anyway. I would definitely recommend Hearts for You for the wedding gown as they have a good selection of dresses without it being overwhelming. I personally cannot speak for the other staff, but I had a great experience with Denise.

Everyone at Hearts for You was simply AMAZING! They were incredibly accomodating, and really worked to make sure I was 100% happy with everything. I got my dress and invitations from them. My dress was actually the second one I bought, but I couldn't help it! It was so so so amazing, and everyone there helped me make the decision that it was the dress for me!

I found my perfect dress at Hearts for you! I had been to SO many places and was convinced I was never going to have that "moment" when I put on a dress and fell in love with it... Then I went to Hearts for you and the experience was so different! From the moment you walk in the door, they treat you more like family than a customer. This place is amazing because not only do they have great people working there, but the dresses are beautiful! When I picked my dress out I did not even look at the price and I automatically assumed it was out of my budget but I tried it on anyway. When she told me the price I was thrilled!! It was more than within my budget and it looked like it was worth so much more!!! I am so thankful to them that they found my perfect dress and it made my day that much more perfect. I truly felt like a princess. Thank you Lisa and Denise and all the Hearts for you staff!!!

I purchased my wedding gown at Hearts For You and my bridesmaids purchased their bridesmaid dresses at Hearts For You. Hearts For You is a small store but they have a very large selection of wedding, bridesmaid, and mother of the bride/groom dresses. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting and working with Syd. Syd is so sweet and helpful and really makes you feel comfortable while in the store. Hearts For You was the first store I went to in my search for a wedding gown, I had never tried on a wedding gown before so I was absolutely clueless in regards to what I wanted or what gowns looked good or bad on me. I explained to Syd what I wanted, she let me pull dresses that I liked and we tried on quite a few. Syd was the reason I purchased my wedding gown from Hearts For You—she is a true asset to this store. Once I purchased my wedding gown I returned for alterations. I worked with Rosimere who did a fabulous job on my alterations! Syd came to my home on the day of my wedding to help me get ready (I had a corset back dress which can be tricky to lace up) and she was great! She arrived on time and helped me get in the dress, put on my shoes, jewelry, and veil. I would recommend any bride looking for a wedding gown check out Hearts For You!

Hearts For You is amazing!! I mostly worked with Allison, but whomever was there when I went in was always kind and willing to help! I had ordered a dress and paid half of it at another bridal salon, and with such a long engagement, had second thoughts on my dress. I called Hearts For You looking for a particular style dress of another designer and they introduced me to Maggie Sotterro. I fell in love with her dresses! Obviously, I am indecisive and they were very patient with me as I got down to two dresses and returned time and time again trying to decide. I finally made a decision and when my dress came in I was in love! It fit me to a tee! I barely needed any alterations- not even a hem! I cant even get everyday clothes to fit me the way this dress did and it looked amazing. They even helped me order a bridesmaid dress when one of my girls dropped out and I needed another (and I hadnt originally bought the dresses there) and again when my MOH got pregnant and realized two mths. out from the wedding that her dress didnt fit! They were amazing! I also ended up ordering my invitations there after going place to place for mths. trying to find the nicest one. They had the classiest ones by far AND the best discount if you got ur dress there! When my proof came in with errors from the invitation company, Lisa, the owner, called them right then herself bc she could not believe how much they messed up and everything was fixed in no time! (I knew it wasnt Lisa's error because I watched her write it all out on the order form.) My invitations were so beautiful that people suggested I frame them for the reception. I never had to hound anyone at Hearts For You because whenever anything came in they called right away. Also, I compared prices of the same dress to other bridal salons, even farther south and Hearts For You has the best prices as well. I highly recommend them!

The ladies at Hearts For You are amazing!! You walk in to warm happy smiles at hearts for you, even on their crazy days!!! I had tried on like 20 dresses before I went to hearts for you. I had a dress in mind and they were the only ones that had it for me to try on. I went back three times before i made my decision and each time i went they welcomed me with a smile. I have to say my dress shopping experience was great thanks to Sid!!! She knew what I liked and told me the truth. They have a huge supply of dresses and many more! I loved my dress and so did my husband!!! Thank you Sid and Lisa for helping me look and feel like a princess!!

This was a letter I wrote about Cyd, who I cannot say enough positive things about! October 12, 2009 Dear Cyd; Managers and Owners at Hearts for You, More often than not, people tend to write letters of complaints and unsatisfactory results. This is not one of those letters. I feel quite the opposite. I first came to Hearts for You in February, 2009 for one of my girlfriends bridesmaid dresses. Everyone was polite and had a friendly vibe. So naturally, when it was my turn to start wedding dress shopping, I started with your store. I had in mind some dresses that I saw from magazines and was excited about the hunt for the perfect dress. One month ago on September 12 at 10:30AM, the Wedding Dress hunt began and it started with Cyd. I came in with an entourage of friends, family and bridesmaids. From mermaid styles, traditional ball gowns, strapless gowns, one strap gowns and everything in betweenI must have tried on 20+ dresses! Cyd listened to what I wanted to every detail and had a fantastic eye for what she thought would look nice...better...and best on my body type. Just when I thought I was done, she said try this dress on...I think you would look great in it; I wasnt sure I wanted to try it on. Well, it was stunning! She bustled me up, dressed me up in veils with head pieces and I knew it was The Dress. She made not only me, but all of my family and friends feel comfortable and welcomed. By this I mean, she brought chairs so everyone can relax and enjoy the fashion show! Everyone was involved and she listened to what everyone thought. More importantly, she really made me feel like I was the only one in the store and she cared about what would make me happy and 100% took her time. I had to check out a few other stores/selections and not one store/person compared to Syds energy and passion for wedding gowns, brides and everyone who comes along for the ride. I could have easily bought My Dress anywhere, but I didnt. I chose to go with Syd at Hearts for You because she shared the passion and excitement I felt for finding The Dress. It was a journey that I will only do once and I did it successfully with her help. I not only found The Dress but I found a person that I would recommend over and over to anyone who will need a gown now or in the future. I will post on my Facebook, Myspace and Twitter pages what a wonderful experience this was because of her. I am unsure if the store offers awards, but if so, please provide her with one. Her added value offers quite a different approach than other stores. Its natural and the passion behind her excitement is like no other! Thank you Syd!

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this bridal shop. All of the staff was wonderful to work with. Hearts for You had a dress that was my runner-up to my final choice. When I found what would be my wedding gown I had to drive 3 hours away to try it on because no one in the area had a sample. When I came back to Hearts for You to tell them that I wasn't going to take the dress that was my second choice, they told me that they could order the dress that was my final choice for me to purchase, just not a sample of it, and that they could do it for almost $600 less than what the store 3 hours away was charging. Hm, $600 less, and only 15 minutes from home? Yes please! What really was a pleasant surprise is that the owner knew my name and recognized me each time I came in. That is something that is rare to find in a business these days, and it's a little thing but it means a lot to the client. The only complaint I have is not related to the store itself but rather to the independent seamstress who works with the store, not for it. When I arrived for my final fitting (the date had been set by the seamstress herself a month+ in advance) the seamstress did not have my dress nor did she know its whereabouts. Once she finally confirmed its location, at her personal shop, she told me that she had not even worked on it since the last fitting. She continually changed her story, saying that it was finished, then that she thinks it may be, and then that it wasn't, and kept bouncing around with that. I was very upset about it and she gave me a $50 refund on the alterations, which really isn't much in the scheme of things but was better than nothing I suppose. She ended up coming to my house a few days later with the dress and everything was resolved. I was still not very satisfied with her professionalism but she did do a very nice job on my dress' alterations. Lisa, the manager of Hearts for You, called me a few days after to ensure that everything was OK and to apologize for the stress the seamstress caused, which I thought was a very nice thing for her to do. Overall this bridal shop may seem like a little hole in the wall place but the staff is so wonderful and their selection is great. They really make you feel special when you are there and I would recommend that every bride in the area at least stop in to take a look at their selection. Even if you don't end up finding your dream dress there it won't be an unpleasant experience to have looked there.

I didnt just get my dress here...I got the girls dresses, the invitations, my shoes and my mom's gown. Everything was great. I felt like I was truly my own bride and that they really cared about me.

I would NOT recommend this vendor AT ALL. The lady who runs the shop is very nice, but unprofessional. My invitations came in messed up... TWICE! She was never there when I called (and didn't return my calls) and it was just a mess.

Lisa went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my wedding day. I am so grateful for her patience and advice.
